You level up, but it's a different system. You level up in skills instead of just automatically leveling up. It sounded smart at the time but theirs seirous holes in that game, and I ended up owning it because of it. Anyway say you use a sword you will level up in blade, bow you will level your bow, you take a lot of damage you will level in health. It all depends on how you play the game.
