I love magic and I love summoning so I'm going to go with Rydia 100% on this! I kinda liked Edge too, his dual weilding was useful.

i completely agree with you on the Rydia one

summoners are the best, and Rydia has some decent magic aswell

Just got this on DS and it makes Rydia seem even more awesome since they have voiceovers during certain scenes you can really get some sense of personality outta them.

Also cuz of that reason I kinda like Tellah now (not to mention he's got like every spell in the game all in one funny looking old man body x.x)

Gotta got with edge. Then again I'm somewhat of a sword fanatic so I guess that sets a little bit of bias for me.

Hard one!!! I like Cecil, Rydia and Edge! They're very useful and cool characters. ^^

Kain. I love the idea of a knight making armor from dragon parts and attacking with a giant lance or spear. I also like the whole side-switching thing. He makes his own rules, playa, and travelling around with a little girl and little kids and some woman and Mr. Paladin would get annoying sometimes.

Still goin' with Rydia but I've added Porom to my list too =P I love how she bonks Palom everytime he's rude lol... such a shame you lose them so early in the game though... *sniff*
