Final Fantasy IX Favourite Playable Character?

Says what it does on the tin! What's your favourite playable character? Not who you use the most, but who do you like the most?

I've always had a soft spot for freya, not only is she awesome in battle she has a cool backstory too. I always hated Quina though, even if I used he/she in battle quite a lot.

I loved Vivi, and his way to see life. All the questions that he had about himself and the others mages. I liked Amarant too, he was kind of misterious.

Final Fantasy IX is my favourite of the series.

And my favourites are either Quina or Freya.

Quina because s/he is officially the most POINTLESS character in the entire series. You sort of look at him and think ".....what the actual...!?" but it's so well done that s/he provides genuinly good comic relief. I also love the way s/he just inexplicably turns up completely out of the blue after seemingly dying. It's just like "What!? How...what is your purpose, man/woman!?" But s/he's just brilliant, such an amazingly obscure character! XD

Or Freya, her character is such a brilliant throwback to Kain (whome I adored) and she resparked the "Honour of the Dragoon" legacy which seemingly began and ended in Final Fantasy IV. The way her emotional side is reserved only for scenes involving Iron-Tail Fratley and her longing for his companionship whilst remaining militaristic, honourable and somewhat raudy the rest of the time is just amazing

I absollutely love vivi. Not only is his powers with and without steiner amazing. hes just so darn cute and his storyline was pretty good too i almost cried a couple time ='C
Second maybe even a good tie for first would be armarant. I love him too. He's just all mysterious and adorable and he kicks some good a$$ lol

Like most people here... Vivi and Amarant were my favs... Though Freya was pretty bada$$ xD

I personally liked Vivi because he was adorable and his storyline wasn't super happy like most young characters in these types of games... He was one of my strongest characters and somehow got ahead of Zidane in in his levels

Freya was awesome. She wasn't like Garnet and Eiko and was more independent which made me pretty darn happy, though she isn't perfect and has her own problems that don't exactly link completely to the other characters... Like with Fratley, do any of the other characters have a boyfriend with amnesia? I think not xD

Amarant was my fav by far, though he and Vivi were pretty much equally loved in my mind xD My favourite part about him was probably the fact that he changed throughout the game, starting off extremely arrogant, independent and almost overly confident and slowly became a quieter, less tempermental character. The only thing that I wish is that he got more attention in the game. He barely showed up at all and they didn't even go into his backstory besides the incident with the auction house (you know what I'm talking about xD)
