T I D U S
[align=center]TIDUS
Name Tidus Gender Male Height 5'7" Weight 120. Age 18 Hair Tidus has golden locks that are fashioned in an array of spikes. Drifting about his face in a conservative manner, and parted right in the middle, these spikes easily mold his naive appearance. They come to his jaw line, and no father, easily curtaining his thin face. In some lights his hair appears silver or extremely pale unlike its natural color (which appears to be a light brown, nearly blond). Facial Hair None. Eyes Tidus has beautiful eyes, in which are a clear blue and often very bright. They are shaped in ovals and often reveal his every emotion. Lined with long lashes, usually clear and strong, they are considered his best feature. Build This young man has the perfect build for a blitzball player and that is not unusual for Tidus enjoys the sport very much. He's layered with muscles, though also appears awfully lanky. With his arms and legs laced kindly with muscles, and his chest and middle nicely developed he's rather proud of his nearly perfect physique. Complexion Tidus has tanned skin (perhaps from all the time he happily spends in the sun) with no blemishes to be found. His skin is silky smooth and he will brag about it given the chance. Voice James Arnold Taylor & Masakazu Morita Clothes The lad is donned in Zanarkand threads all around. He loves sporting his one-of-a-kind outfit with pride and it's no wonder why: they are pretty cool. His outfit begins with his accessories, which are plenty. Within his ears are earrings that reflect his father's mark. One can also see a necklace made in the same fashion: silver with a chain and with that same symbol resting upon his chest (it is a T and J together, the first letter in Tidus’s and Jecht’s name). Next we come to his "hoodie". It is primarily yellow and white and opens to reveal his chest and ends just above his ribs. One sleeve is the comforting yellow, a short one at that, with white wrapped about it in a flurry of thread. His other sleeve, which is long, is composed of many different elements altogether. We begin with his shoulder, which is covered in a light blue cotton covering, with small indents spaced accordingly. Cut off by a zigzag of thin metal we come to a web of red lace crossing together to make diamonds (this located at his elbow). Last on this puzzling piece is his dull green glove, composed of layers, a bracelet, and it covers the full length of his elbow down. One comes to ponder the elaborate dress known only as "overalls". Though Tidus boasts them proudly, this black piece is rather eccentric. Composed of silky black fabric one can find that a belt is looped about his waist and a zipper is located in the middle of the alleged overalls. It reveals his chest and the straps are comfortably over his shoulders, buckled by strange T-like buttons. They are shorts, coming just above his knee on one side and a little shorter on the other (where blue lining can be revealed). Upon his feet are yellow shoes, with brown covering the fronts, and black socks to finish his look. Other Appearance None. DoB August 12 Personality Ah, Tidus-what a character! At first glance Tidus is nothing more than a cheery, energetic, and laughable fellow. But Tidus is far more than that and happens to have a whole gallery of emotions and complexity. Tidus lets others see his more likable side (or so he thinks): he usually makes himself seem arrogant, cocky, but exceptionally happy and well. Some may say he's annoying with his endless teasing and mischievous tricks, but the boy wants nothing more than to have fun. He can often see the bright side of things in dark situations and will do his best to keep a situation light and favorable. Eager to try new things and accepting of things that may be considered rather different by others, Tidus is a very sociable person and easily relates to most people. However, Tidus is not all rainbow and sunshine and has a far more emotional side than he might like. When he was a child his father, Jecht, never ceased putting him down. Usually Jecht would linger on Tidus's emotional state, often pestering him "not to cry". These days Tidus feels ashamed to cry because of his childhood and tries to hide what he's feeling. He feels others will judge him and put him down as his father did so long ago. Yet, like anyone else, Tidus usually will burst with emotion if the circumstance is important to him. His outbursts are sudden and loud and full of passion. While it depends greatly on the situation at hand, Tidus will let go of his emotions at any given time and no one can ever determine when. The blitzball star feels uncomfortable when speaking about his emotions and past alike and will not take kindly to sympathy or charity. Some like to think Tidus is careless and slow, but the truth is he's the exact opposite. Tidus does everything with care and a great deal of determination. He goes by the saying "do things right the first time". While one might think Tidus is slow and often naive, he's actually a fast learner and eagerly does so. He's a curious person and asks many questions so that he may better understand what's going on. Hating to be in the dark about anything, he's rarely quiet and usually speaks his mind with a precise bluntness. He's also one of the most loyal people you will ever meet. He clings to his friends like super-glue and will never go away. He respects his friends and family with the utmost pride and would do anything for them in his power. Tidus likes to steer them in the right direction and is often the one cheering them up despite his own turmoil. Tidus will fight for them until the very end while spending his days endlessly in their presence. He loves to learn more about them and is trustworthy and kind to their feelings. And that is the famous blitzball player known as Tidus! Strengths Obviously, Tidus is a pro blitzball player and so can play the sport with ease. He's also a fair and speedy fighter, sprinting around an arena with gleeful quickness. Also, he is very relatable, making him an ideal friend or someone to talk to. Weaknesses Tidus is often headstrong and rarely thinks of the consequences following his actions. Thus, he blindly follows his heart and usually finds himself in a mess of trouble. With little time to spare for thinking he’ll rush into any situation while trying to fight everyone’s battles. Tidus is the sort of guy who would take a bullet for anyone-he believes every human life is necessary to keep. Fears Our spiky-haired friend fears judgment and change, two of the things he’s been put through for a good deal of his life. His father always judged him, always putting him on the spot and harming his self-esteem whenever there was a chance. So, Tidus has come to fear judgment, always feeling everyone is doing it purposely and with the intention of hurting him. Though Tidus can listen to reason, he will usually get angry when someone speaks of his flaws, even a little defensive. As for change, something Tidus has come to know, he resents it and loathes it with a passion. Though he has lived in change and nothing more, Tidus longs for a simple life where things stayed as they were. However, this is not so for our blond guardian. He assumes he doesn’t like change for when it occurs it’s usually for the worst (perhaps it’s only him though). While he will endure change with a smile on his face, he’s simply hiding how uncomfortable he truly is. Prejudices Believe it or not, Tidus has no prejudices. He believes humans are humans despite what their upbringing may be. He loves learning about new people and is very accepting of their differences. Background What’s it like… to be a dream? Tidus lived within a dream: a dream that seemed to be largely unhappy in most of his youth. While many kids would savor the fact that their father was a famous blitzball player, Tidus hated it with all of his might. Actually, Tidus hated his father since he could remember. His father happened to be Jecht: the best blitzball player ever to be seen by the likes of Zanarkand. Everyone loved Jecht, except for his own son. It was not because Tidus envied his father (which would be silly) it was because his father constantly put him down. Every day Jecht would insist he not cry, or call Tidus a crybaby, or when he would try something new Jecht would merely sneer and tell him he could never do it. Not only that, but Jecht swooned his mother. So much, in fact, that when Jecht was around Tidus was completely ignored by his loving mother. In Tidus’s eyes Jecht was a cruel, cold man, and his hatred only grew when his father left. It was twelve years ago and it happened suddenly. It was said that Jecht merely went out to sea to train for blitzball and mysteriously never returned. Tidus would never see him again and if it wasn’t for his mother’s sorrow, he might have been happy about it. However, following his father’s disappearance, his mother simply lost the will to live. It wasn’t long before she passed away, dwelling on her sorrow. Tidus hated, and blamed, Jecht for everything. Tidus grew up to be an emotional, but regularly happy person. He became the best blitzball player and played for the acclaimed Zanarkand Abes. He lived a comfortable lifestyle in the comfy confines of Zanarkand: a place of no worries and where everyone did nothing more than have fun. It was the day of the Jecht Memorial Cup that Sin struck precious Zanarkand and upset Tidus’s world. With the aid of a past friend known as Auron, Tidus escaped into a place known as Spira-allegedly being a whole other world. In Spira Zanarkand is said to be destroyed nearly 1,000 years ago, but Tidus is sure it was destroyed only moments before. Also, in Spira, Sin is a destructive force intent on killing all that cross its path. To kill it a summoner and her guardians go on a long pilgrimage to find beings of great powers-aeons-to perform the Final Summoning that supposedly defeats Sin. It is not long before Tidus meets such a summoner, known as Yuna, and sets out with her array of guardians to defeat Sin. It was a long journey, to be sure, full of twists and turns no one could have predicted. Tidus easily fell in love with Yuna and made friends with those who had once been weary of his sanity. Also, Tidus learns some disturbing facts about his true home and himself. The Final Summoning actually kills the summoner who calls it forth. Not only that, but the Final Aeon is crafted from someone the summoner is personally close to-thus, if Yuna wanted to truly defeat Sin, she would have to sacrifice not only herself but a guardian as well. Once both are dead, Sin is reborn from the remains of the Final Aeon, being recreated from the person claimed by it. It was this fate that claimed his father Jecht (making Sin Jecht). Braska, Yuna’s father, had summoned the Final Aeon by sacrificing Jecht and killing himself. It was then Jecht became Sin and reeked havoc upon Spira. It was not only this startling revelation Tidus learned of, but also that he was nothing more than a dream. His world, his father, and himself were merely dreams of the fayth created 1,000 years prior. The story goes that Zanarkand and Bevelle were trapped within a war, but lovely Zanarkand could not hope to win. And so, Zanarkand’s leader-Yevon-made his people fayth themselves and used their memories to create a fake Zanarkand in its wake. So that he could protect his world from the rest of Spira, he drew millions pyreflies to himself and created Sin. However, he quickly lost his humanity and merely focused upon his sole mission to protect Dream Zanarkand. The fayth of Bahamaut urges Tidus to find a way to end Dream Zanarkand’s summoning so that they all may finally rest. Tidus agrees to this and only reveals that his life will end once they defeat Sin the moment he is reunited with his father Jecht locked deep within the monster itself. After defeating Yu Yevon, and thus vanquishing Sin for good, Tidus gives Yuna a painful farewell and dives into an endless sea of clouds to rest… but not for long. Two years later, after Yuna saves the world yet again, the fayth revive Tidus as a reward for the ex-summoner. It is now that Tidus surfaces from the lonely dream he has been dreaming. Nightmare
I wrote this, silly. xD Honestly, it's a bad profile compared to what I usually do, buuuuut I just wanted to get it done. =3 But yes, I truly wrote every ounce of this profile~ =D Matt *ish brick'd* Sorry! I had no idea how tall Tidus was and merely guessed! -.- I thought six feet, 'cause the Final Fantasy characters always seem so tall in my perspective. But, okies, I'll change it! ^^

And that's how I set up all my profiles Nightmare (I go to various RP forums and have been RPing for quite some time now, a few years I believe). So, yay! I am off to go RP~!
