Nhl 10

Well you all must know about the NHL... And the NHL video game franchise. Well EA Sports has outdone themselves this time with this new installment of the NHL games with NHL 10.

Graphics are sharper. When you see your team skating you can see the marks they make in the ice. Now the actual characters don't look like their respective player's which was a bit of a let down. Still has their movements and stuff.

Fighting is wicked. It goes into first person and you see your punches hitting their mark. It's really sweet. When the ref calls for a penalty or the whistle is blown you are given some time to skate around so you can start checking some other players and get them to fight back in hopes of a fight.

Fantasy Draft mode is pretty sweet too. Although you don't get to make the fantasy team you dream of. There is a list of available players and based on the team you choose to start a Season with and their rank in the standings to get to pick who's left of that list. This goes on for 32 rounds. And they don't have all the players you may want. Although they have a good selection.

You have a mode "Go For The Cup" or something like that mode. It's pretty sweet. You can pick your favorite team and pick the other 7 teams you'd like in the little tournament. Kind of like a Fantasy Stanley Cup Playoff's.

Now I didn't see much of the game as to online. I was at a friend's house and he has the game and we just played some single player taking turns. We didn't go online.

Goalie mode! I forgot about that! You can play as your teams goalie for an entire game and watch from his view as the game goes on. You don't control any other player just him.

So all in all it's a pretty great game and I recommend it for any and all NHL fans. Control's for the game may vary for different consoles.
